A massive thank you to all our corporate supporters, sponsors and all the
amazing individuals who pledged for our crowdfunding or donate to our cause.

A huge thank you to the Ian Potter Foundation for supporting our 'Local to Global Strategies for Accelerating Kelp Restoration' initiative. With their help we are restoring crayweed forests at 10 critical sites along the Sydney coastline over a four-year period (2024-2027). In collaboration with the Kelp Forest Alliance, this effort aims to reconnect crayweed habitats, enhance the rich biodiversity they support, and ensure Australia contributes to the global mission of protecting and restoring 4 million hectares of kelp forests by 2040.

Many thanks also go to Dorset Sutton and Jennifer Lim, who have made the restoration of crayweed in Cabbage Tree Bay (Manly) possible and who continue to support our work developing improved methods to re-establish crayweed in Manly and beyond. Many thanks to the John T Reid Foundation, who funded educational activities with Balgowlah North Public School possible. Special thanks also go to Tom Breen, Patagonia, Waverley Council, SISUU, SeaTrees, We Are Explorers, the Gemba Group, RelocateEU and Investa, as well as many individual donors who supported us over the years.

This project has been assisted by the New South Wales Government through the Environmental Trust & Habitat Action Grants programs.

This is a flagship project from the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, a world-leading marine science institute and the principal marine research facility in NSW, Australia.
